HSC Exam Result 2025

HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) Examination is a board assessment examination for classes 11 and 12. HSC examination is held by 11 boards (Dhaka, Rajshahi, Chittagong, Comilla, Barisal, Sylhet, Jessore, Mymensingh, Dinajpur, Madrasah, Technical). However, each board conducts the examination in its own question paper and prepares the results separately.

In the HSC examination, there are 3 groups in 9 general boards, which are Humanities, Science and Business Studies. And there are different groups/trade in the syllabus of Madrasah and Technical Boards.

In 2025, the HSC examination started from June 26 and the theory examination ended on August 19. Then, the practical examination was held from August 21 to August 31. There is a rule to publish the results within 60 days after the end of the HSC examination. Due to that, the HSC examination result 2025 was published at 10 am on October 12. The Bangladesh Education Board has published HSC result simultaneously across the country.

In 2025, a total of 9,295 institutions from all education boards participated in the HSC examination. Out of which, 1,241,337 students participated in the HSC examination. Out of them, 727,366 passed and 513,971 failed. That is, the pass rate of the HSC examination in 2025 is 58.6%. It is worth noting that a total of 69,119 students achieved GPA-5. Which is much less than the previous year.
